OTHER EVENTS
FRIDAY JULY 24, 2026
We are organizing a small welcome cocktail from 18h to 21h on Friday at the Domaine du Chesney for those who would like to attend. Attendance is not mandatory and you can indicate if you will attend when you RSVP.
We will have charcuterie, cheese, snacks, and drinks (wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages) - an "apero-dinatoire".
And of course - there is a petanque court available (a French lawn game that is similar to bocce ball).
SUNDAY JULY 26, 2026
We will have a brunch the next day after the wedding starting at 11h30 also at Domaine du Chesney for those who would like to attend.
Please indicate if you think you will be able to attend when you RSVP.
GUEST ATTIRE
WEDDING DAY
For the Saturday wedding ceremony and reception, the dress code for our guests is formal:
For the ladies, this means long dresses (maxi length or near-maxi) or long trousers.
For the men, this means a suit and tie (bow tie or regular tie).
FRIDAY AND SUNDAY
For the Friday welcome event and the Sunday brunch, there is no dress code so come in what you feel most comfortable in.
We will wear a nice outfit fitting with the wedding weekend so you're welcome to wear something you feel fits as well.
Kindly reserve white for the bride during the full weekend.

FAQ
WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?
To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline to RSVP is January 10th 2026.
You can RSVP by clicking the link here https://withjoy.com/michelle-and-jeremy-jul-26/rsvp
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically included within your RSVP party using the website above. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in your RSVP are in attendance.
Thank you for understanding.
ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?
As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults. We hope you are able to enjoy the celebration and the party to the fullest.
We hope you understand.
WHAT TIME IS THE CEREMONY?
We ask for guests to arrive at the church at 15h30. The ceremony will take place starting promptly at 16h. This schedule may still change in the coming months (as we wait for final confirmation from the church) but we will of course confirm the time as the day approaches. Please check back before the wedding.
Please note that late arrivals will not be permitted entry until the ceremony has ended - we hope you understand.
DO YOU HAVE A REGISTRY FOR GIFTS?
We recognize many of our guests are travelling from far to come celebrate with us, so your presence alone is a gift. If you would still like to gift something, there will be a card box at the wedding reception if you want to contribute to our honeymoon.
WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?
Yes! There will be cocktails, wine, beer, and other drinks available throughout the day of the wedding. For Friday and Sunday, we will also provide drinks.
We want you to have the best time, so drinks are on us but the hangover is on you!
IS THE WEDDING OUTSIDE?
The wedding will take place inside at the church (Eglise de Saint Vernonnet). The cocktail reception will be outside at the Domaine du Chesney (weather permitted). Dinner and dancing will be inside at the Domaine.
The Domaine grounds can be quite grassy with gravel or stone-y paths, so for any high heels you may want a thicker base rather than a stiletto.
Please make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day.
I HAVE ALLERGIES OR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS - WHO CAN I TELL?
When you RSVP, you will be asked to complete a form to indicate if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. Please fill out the information and we will be providing this to our caterer.
IS THERE A TAXI OR SHUTTLE SERVICE FOR SATURDAY NIGHT?
The safety of our guests is our priority. We ask that you do not drive if you have consumed alcohol, even if it is just one drink.
At this time, there are no shuttle or taxi services available at the end of the evening on Saturday. However, if you are staying in a hotel or Airbnb far from Domaine du Chesney, or if you need help arranging your return trip, please contact us in advance. Please note that Uber is not available in the area.
We will do our best to help you find a suitable transportation solution so that everyone can get home safely.
TRAVEL TIPS
HOW TO GET THERE
WHERE TO STAY
WHAT TO DO
We recommend flying into Paris.
From Paris, you can travel either by train or by car to Vernon and the surrounding areas.
By train: Departure would be from Saint Lazare station arriving into Vernon. Travel time is around 50 minutes and there is a train that runs almost hourly most days.
By car: The drive time between Paris and Vernon is around 1hr 30mins.
There are a number of different places you can stay in Vernon, Giverny, and other surrounding areas near the Domaine.
We have included a few accomodation suggestions below and recommend you check booking.com, tripadvisor.com, and Air BnB for options.
La Maison du Passeur
Villa Rosehill
Hotel Normandy
La Dime de Giverny
On one of our visits, we stayed at a little Air BnB even as far as Bennecourt - so we hope you will find plenty of options.
Giverny
Giverny is well known as the place where the artist Claude Monet lived - and so the little town, and the surrounding towns, are all very charming.
We recommend visiting the Monet museum and walking through the streets one morning/afternoon.
Vernon
Our location is in the Eure region of France - if you're looking for activities, where to eat, places to stay etc. then we recommend checking out the Eure tourism website: https://www.eureka-attractivity.com/.
Uber is not really a thing in the region, but there are taxi services available - we recommend familiarizing yourself with what is available in the area.
The distance between the church and the Domaine is around 5km or approximately 8 minutes by car.
Please reach out to the bride or groom by March 31st 2026 if you need transportation on the wedding day so we can look into options or shuttles if needed.
